How do you stuff fall into one meal? Well let me tell ya… These Stuffed Apples are a simple way to make everyone think you’re a master chef.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Two Apples

  • Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 LB of Ground Beef

  • Onion - Quarter Cup, Diced

  • Mushrooms - 4-5 Cut into fourths

  • Rosemary - 3 inch Sprig

  • Garlic - 1 TBSP

  • Bacon Fat, Lard or Olive Oil - 1 TBSP

  • Bone Broth - 1/3 Cup

  • Sea Salt - 1/2 tsp

I like to hollow out the apples earlier in the day so I can just eat the inside as a snack, but any time works, just coat the flesh with lemon juice so it doesn’t brown.

Combine the onions and garlic in a medium pan with the bacon fat or olive oil and start to brown. After a few minutes, stirring often, add in the mushrooms and rosemary sprig. Make sure to keep stirring it infuse the flavors and no burning. Pour in the bone broth, stir to combine then add in ground beef and salt. Once the beef is mostly brown transfer to the hollowed out apples. Cover the apples individually with foil and place in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. That’s it!

Enjoy!
