This sauce is the sauce I’ve been looking for and craving. I’m a huge sucker for a good piece of pizza or pasta dish but sadly pretty much all of the core ingredients are AIP no-no’s. Nut Free Pesto to the rescue!

If you haven’t yet invested on a good blender, do it now. Good blenders will last a lifetime and are a huge part in my food prep process. For this recipe you’ll need:

  • Fresh Basil - roughly 3 oz, stems removed.

  • Green Onion - Large bunch, roughly 10 stalks, just the greens, keep the bulbs for other recipe.

  • Cilantro - 1 oz, stems removed

  • Olive Oil - 1/2 Cup

  • Lemon Juice - 1 TBSP

  • Nutritional Yeast - 1 TBSP

  • Grey Salt or Himalayan Sea Salt - 1 TSP

  • BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH

This nut -free pesto sauce is packed full of body healing ingredients. Basil is known for aiding in digestion and is an amazing anti-inflammatory which is essential for auto-immune healing. Nutritional Yeast is a great way to get that hearty nutty flavor while adding extra protein, vitamins and minerals to the sauce.
